"Piece by Piece" An Original Musical

"Piece by Piece" An Original Musical by Emmy Frevele, Shawn Ryan, and David Mikael. Emmy designed the entire storyline, top to bottom, pitched the idea to the producers, Shawn Ryan & John Ainsworth, who approved the idea and made the entire thing happen! Shawn Ryan wrote the book, David Mikael did music & lyrics as well as composition. The musical was then workshopped on a group of 19 cast members and performed in the Santa Cruz Mountains at Young Actors' Theatre Camp. Emmy got to co-direct and choreograph, and she couldn't be more proud of this one.

Piece by Piece Synopsis:

The funding for John Adams High School’s drama department has been cut by the district, and the students are outraged. Working with a minimal budget donated by the Crenshaw Family, the students put on a completely self-run show in hopes to change the district’s mind and save the arts.
