"Piece by Piece" An Original Musical by Emmy Frevele, Shawn Ryan, and David Mikael. Emmy designed the entire storyline, top to bottom, pitched the idea to the producers, Shawn Ryan & John Ainsworth, who approved the idea and made the entire thing happen! Shawn Ryan wrote the book, David Mikael did music & lyrics as well as composition. The musical was then workshopped on a group of 19 cast members and performed in the Santa Cruz Mountains at Young Actors' Theatre Camp. Emmy got to co-direct and choreograph, and she couldn't be more proud of this one. Piece by Piece Synopsis: The funding for John Adams High School’s drama department has been cut by the district, and the students are outraged.
